WHAT WE DO

We're addressing the issues of inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.

The URBOND Child Education was established in 2019 and is currently based primarily in Koutaya, Dubreka (Republic of Guinea). The vision is to embed the URBOND philosophy of ‘building bigger, stronger communities together’ on an international scale by involving the charity’s participants in the UK in the organisations work in Africa. The impact that the charity and its participants are having in the Republic of Guinea is just the beginning of what can be achieved by bringing people together to form stronger communities.

Building New Schools

Look to build accessible new schools in rural communities where there are no schools or the nearest school is kilometres away.

Sponsor a Child

At URBOND, we have significant experience connecting sponsors and families in underprivileged communities. We build relationships between donors and those their kind-hearted funds supports, so you can see the true impact of your donation.

Training Centres

URBOND Training Centres provide training in certified employment skills, workshops and seminars for locals to enable them to secure jobs and afford the cost of educating their children.

Working With Local Schools

To provide teachers and, improve school facilities. To develop an education plan including English, IT and Dental Health and to make schools safe, inclusive learning environments for all.

Empowering Communities

Work with children, parents and communities to eliminate gender disparities and vulnerable situations in education and to promote sustainable lifestyles.

Girls Education

Supporting young girls by giving them the education in menstrual health and FGM to ensure they have the knowledge they need to continue in school.

Sports For All

To develop a sporting programme (initially targetted at basketball) that helps kids of all ages get into sport and lead an active lifestyle

Fundraising

Continue to find new ways to raise the funds needed to support the programmes, through donations and revenue generating activities.
