What a day it’s been!
Our volunteers were spread across multiple locations, each leading vital community projects that continue to make a real, life-changing impact.
We successfully delivered workshops reaching 98 young girls and distributed 400+ sanitary kits, empowering them with knowledge and confidence.
Our team also visited several schools, educating over 1,000 young children on dental care and distributing more than 1,000 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste, smiles all around!
We had FGM workshop, discussing the side effects of FGM and how I can cause long term health issues. As URBOND is embedded into the community, locals are more receptive.
In Conakry, Rob our dedicated volunteer from Portsmouth Force, worked alongside the Guinean Basketball Federation, training local coaches to enhance children’s sports experiences.
We had a special visit from the DPE of Dubreka, who toured the new school with some of our volunteers.

To top it all off, we celebrated Patrycja’s birthday together, a perfect end to a fulfilling day of teamwork, learning and joy.v
