Today was another inspiring and productive day for our volunteers! We started the morning with a hearty breakfast before heading to Koutaya, where URBOND is building a brand-new school for children who currently have no access to education. Once completed, this school will welcome over 500–600 young learners offering them a brighter future filled with knowledge and opportunity.
While part of our team worked hard on manual labour, helping to prepare the school for its opening, others were busy delivering dental hygiene classes to local children. Over 100 young people received toothbrushes and toothpaste, learning the importance of maintaining good oral health.
In addition, our volunteers ran an awareness campaign on FGM (Female Genital Mutilation), opening vital conversations and promoting health, safety and empowerment within the community.
The day was filled with hard work, connection and joy. We shared laughter, stories and hope with the amazing people of Koutaya. Every moment brings us closer to our goal, building stronger, healthier and better-educated communities together.
