The day started bright and early with a 6am breakfast before we hit the road for Conakry, the capital of Guinea. There, we were warmly welcomed by our incredible Guinea team before heading to the port for our island adventure!
We spent the day exploring three beautiful islands, walking over 15km as we learned about Guinea’s rich history and its deep connections with the UK, France and Portugal. Every stop offered a new glimpse into the country’s vibrant culture and heritage.
At 2pm, we headed to Kassa Island where we enjoyed a well-deserved lunch a refreshing swim and some time to relax by the water.
We wrapped up the day back in Conakry, catching an exciting 3v3 basketball game before returning to Dubreka for the evening tired but fulfilled with another unforgettable day behind us.
