We’ve finally arrived in Guinea after an incredible and at times challenging journey!
The team set off early from Portsmouth, travelled to Heathrow and then flew out to Conakry with 28 bags packed full of study equipment, toothbrushes, toothpaste, sports equipment and supplies for children and families from underprivileged communities.
The drive from Conakry airport to Dubreka was an adventure in itself heavy rain, giant potholes and plenty of laughter as we managed to fit everything (and everyone!) into three small cars.
After settling into the hotel late at night, we took a moment to rest, recharge and prepare for the days ahead.
Now, the real work begins. We’re ready to kick off our plans for this trip empowering young people and building lasting connections through teamwork, passion and fun activities.
