For the kids that come to the school in Koutaya lunchtime is not something to look forward to. Most come to school without any food for the day.

Teaching administration building
Image
Unfunded
est £85,000
Now that the school building has been completed, we would like to move forward with constructing a dedicated teachers’ administrative building. This facility will include indi-vidual offices, meeting rooms, a teachers’ common room, storage for school equipment and a conference room.

At the moment, our teachers spend their entire day inside classrooms without access to a quiet space to prepare lessons, reflect, or collaborate. Creating this new building will not only give them the professional environment they need to plan and perform at their best, but it will also provide the privacy and support that are essential for their well-being. your support to help make it a reality.

We believe this project is an important step toward improving both teaching quality and overall school operations, and we are seeking your support to help make it a reality.

Children accommodation facilities
Image
Unfunded
est £350,000
At URBOND Child Education, we believe every child deserves the chance to learn, to grow and to dream of a future filled with opportunity. But for far too many children, education is not the only thing they lack, many do not even have a safe place to sleep at night.

Across communities in the Republic of Guinea, children are struggling without shelter, stability, or the security they need to thrive. It is difficult to expect them to unlock their potential when their most basic human need, safe housing is not met.

We plan to build dedicated children’s accommodation for those without a home, ensuring they have shelter, are fed, receive an education and are given a real chance at a better future.

Fencing the school

Image
Unfunded
est £28,000
This project is essential because it creates a safe and secure environment for students and staff, and it ensures that the facilities remain in good condition for learning. Beyond security, fencing helps manage student movement and prevents children from wandering off. Overall, installing a fence is a vital step in safeguarding the school community and supporting a focused, well organised learning environment.

Multi-Sports Court
Image
Unfunded
est £19,000
In our original school in Dubreka we built a multi-sports court (volleyball/basketball). The court has been well used over the years and has helped us to get 1,000 kids involved in sports. Over the years the court surface has degraded to the point that it is unsafe for continued use.

This project is to resurface the court to enable us continue to provide sports facilities to the school kids and local sports teams.

Medical clinic
Image
Unfunded
est £60,000
In Koutaya, families face daily challenges accessing even the most basic healthcare. There is currently no clinic, no medical post, and no essential health services available. Children and mothers often travel long distances, sometimes walking for hours to reach the nearest facility, putting lives at risk and delaying urgent care.

We are planning to build the first clinic in Koutaya, a safe and accessible community health centre that will provide primary healthcare for children and families.
